Hi, I am going overseas and I bought an iphone using my paypal account, just wondering whether I can still choose to have the refund go back to my credit card? Or what form of payment I can choose?
Also I been always wonder, I am only going overseas for a short period of time, and I claimed tax refund, however, would the customs require you to pay back tax when you return to Aus? Thanks!

You can give them a credit card for the refund to be paid into; trip duration isn't a concern. Keep in mind that the value of products drops significantly once used so you bringing your iPhone back won't require declaration. If in doubt you could declare and most likely customs will state it's value is under the threshold.

Ensure you get a tax invoice with an ABN from the seller.
The tax invoice needs to include your name and address as well; I remember asking JBhifi to enter it on a previous purchase. Most retailers can do this.
