I placed a pre-order with JB-HiFi on 20th Oct for P2XL 128GB Black. Thought I'd start a page to track pre-orders of others.
I got a mail from JB today to say there are delays and they expect stock tomorrow.
Where did you pre-order yours and any updates yet?
On the contrary, I placed order on Google store and that had an estimated delivery date of mid November being shipped from Singapore. I cancelled that order and placed the order on JB
JB did not have any discount. But I bought vouchers at a discount and used to that. Plus they will claim GST on my way out this month.
And they say they'll supply it tomorrow? I was told a month when I asked at JBHIFI on Friday and they didn't indicate preorder was an option
Were the vouchers from an OzB deal?
I did get an email to say they will ship it out tomorrow. May be they are fulfilling the orders as they come in. I placed the order at 11am the day they opened pre-orders.
The vouchers were not from an OzB deal, but from someone in the OzB community.
Received email from JB that they shipped it. Yay!
Pre-ordered the B&W 64GB Pixel 2 XL from JB Hi-Fi on Thursday. Went in first thing this morning to pick up since when I paid they said "just follow what's on the receipt". The staff said a box of Pixels had arrived but hadn't been sorted and invoiced yet. They then went to do mine since I was there. She came back with a memo saying the Panda 64GB XLs will arrive on the 20th of Nov. I just changed my order to the black since they already had that in-store.
On her memo, it said the black XL 128GBs will arrive earlier than the Panda 64GB. I think it said 5th of Nov but I'm not certain
Which store was this?

Received email from JB that they shipped it. Yay!
Got my P2XL today. It's beautiful!
Also, came with Google Home Mini. Was surprised they shipped it along because the product page said I will have to order later based on some coupon they issue.

Oooo congrats guys. I'm trying to decide between pixel 2 and pixel 2 XL.
Me too. I think I am going to pull the trigger and get Pixel 2 on Telstra plan today (the $105 cashrewards expires today). The reported screen issues with the 2 XL is scaring me a bit. Plus never really owned a larger sized phone before.

Hi John,
I have been using the P2XL for some days now. To my eyes, the colors on the screen are not as saturated as they are on Samsungs. But - that is not an issue and is really down to preferences. I love neutral colours and have enjoyed using P2XL so far. The only problem for me has been coming to terms with no headphone jack.

Thanks, I ended up going with the Pixel 2 XL last night. Hopefully I made the right decision, but not much I can do about it now! Just waiting for delivery…

I have the colours on saturated mode now, so that helps.
Hopefully no further issues and they roll out fixes for the above soon…
I heard that JB weren't going to have the P2XL in stock until Nov 20 so I didn't bother preordering. If I'd known it was tomorrow I would have. Did you get any discounts on price? Was this in store or on line?
Edit: and side question: What kinds of screens are people planning on for the Pixel 2/2 XL
