Not sure if the question has been asked before. I've done some reading and found that the best way to deny access to a stolen cd key is to post it on a public forum for everyone to see. After numerous attempts of activating it, the key would be blocked. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, what's a decent site to get this done?

Yeah. Had my windows key stolen once. Called Microsoft they gave me a new one. They will ask you for proof of purchase though.
yep that's fine. i can show proof of it. just dont want to let the scammer get away with it!
and how did one have their keys 'stolen'?

why not just let the game publisher or developer know about it?
