Hi All,
So I'm looking to build a house next year in Perth.
I've searched for any previous threads for Perth builders but couldn't find any.
Anyone who has built a house in Perth or know people who have, could you please recommend any good builders? Or please share your experience in general.
Would also appreciate any advice on who to avoid, any hidden costs I need to be aware of, or any pro tips in general for a noob building their first house.
My preferences:
- Budget of 200K. Can go a bit over.
- Standard 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 theatre on a 15 frontage block.
- Built within a year.
Thank You!
I built with Home Group WA and it was the most painless process ever. I found them very good value for money but there was a total time to completion of about a year. I wouldn't go for any of the builder that are aiming for first home buyers because they generally give you poor value for money and try to convince you that you can't afford anything better. I would recommend approaching each builder that you think are alright and get them to quote you for everything that you want before you hand over a deposit because some builders will have higher costs for some extras than others. Also get yourself a good broker and avoid keystart loans.
