Not a fridge but. . I've got a beko dishwasher which I purchased cheap as a quick temporary replacement for a dead set of dishdrawers.

Damn best washer I ever had. Cleans super and is so damn quiet. Going strong after 4 years of being used every day.

    Mine is made in Turkey.

I have a Beko fridge, chest freezer and front loader washing machine; going on 4 years now (all purchased at the same time moving in to a new house). Only thing I've had an issue with was the motor in the Washing Machine a couple months ago, which Beko happily replaced within a week, free of charge. Been very happy with them.

    Thank you guys

Our Whirlpool sidebyside just died, not the whole fridge, just the fan. Crazy enough not even the Fan, it's the circuit board that control the fan died, got quoted $800 to fix :(.

It lasted us 7 years though.

    • Any water leakage from the fridge? Weird part to break. You should not really get an issue with a relay they are usually good for a million cycles It can be less but i doubt they would skimp on a relay.

      • No leaks at all
The design is that when the fridge in defrost mode, the heat and the fan will make the water evaporate. It wasn't a relay, it was the whole circuit board.
I had 2 independence Whirlpool authorised company to look at it, $80 per call out, $160 down the drain.

    • That is appalling. 7 years is nothing for a fridge. I've seen many last 30+ years.

      • I'm afraid this isn't the case anymore.

Most fridges these days only give you 2-3 years warranty max.

        • You are certainly correct about warranty. I'm glad you have the wisdom to put that $800 toward its replacement instead of repair.

Was in the market for a new fridge around 5 years ago. I had done a bit of research and had decided to go in with a Beko fridge 510L. After owning it for about an year, I remember there was an issue with the interior lighting (light melted off, presumably due to a surge). Contacted the retailer for repairs who put me in touch with Beko. Pleasently suprised when they replaced the entire fridge, when I would have been happy with them replacing just the light. It may have been since Beko had just entered the whitegoods space, however the replacement was offered without any prompting. Apparently the new design has better power management.

New fridge still going strong even after a couple of house move ins. For its size, quite efficient in its electricity consumption as well.

Mine is made in Turkey as well. Apparently they are big in Europe

    • This give me more confident to purchase the BEKO, thank you.

  • I've had a Beko fridge for a bit over 3 years. It works well. We had a problem with the track on one of the plastic drawers breaking. I thought they would blame us so I was prepared to shell out the dosh. I sent the service a friendly email and they replaced the drawer for free. Happy chappy me.

  • I'm selling a brand new mitsubishi one if youre interested :)

    • Great but i'm afraid i can't ….

I was that close to purchase the Mitsubishi Electric 650l but the total depth of it was 820 and the space i have at home only allow me 760 max.

      :(

      • wow 650l is huge, mine is 420l

        • What you need for 3kids and a 50kg dog.

          :)
