RoomScan Pro 6.2 on iOS [Free]

790

RoomScan Pro is the only app with three great ways to get a floor plan, making sure it always gets the job done:

  1. Augmented Reality Scanning — new in iOS 11, use your iPhone 6s, iPhone SE or above's camera to scan the floor and accurately add walls in seconds.

  2. Touch Phone Against Walls — perfect where the view of the floor is blocked or poorly-lit, just touch your phone against each wall for a rapid plan.

  3. Draw Manually & Use Laser — take advantage of slick integration with Leica & Bosch laser measures to get precise measurements onto your plan in moments.

RoomScan Pro can scan building exteriors, yards and gardens too, with the ExteriorScan & PlotScan features.

Perfect for figuring out what junk I can fit into my place when browsing the latest deals. 3d model my place.

  • Works well. In app purchase credits required to export your files as DXF, PDF, CSV, FML and MTPIX

  • Did this ever cost anything?

Ok thanks. It's pretty useless without the in-app purchases though.

Just gave this app a go in my office, using the touch wall method. Each wall was within 0.1m, remarkable.

Bit peeved that since Apple removed app purchase function from PC iTunes I can no longer "buy" apps that aren't compatible with my phone or iPad. Previously I would get the apps with a view to upgrading my devices at some point in the future, but that's no longer possible.

They still have a version that will allow you to access the AppStore though iTunes. Just be aware that there will be issues with device compatibility, but if you just want access to the store this is an option. You can run both versions of iTunes.

“If you've already installed a newer version of iTunes, you can download this version of iTunes on your Mac, PC 32-bit or PC 64-bit* and run the installer. After installation is complete, you can continue to deploy apps with iTunes.
You won’t be prompted to download new versions of iTunes after you install this version. Manually update to the latest version of iTunes when you're ready to upgrade.”

      • Yeah I actually tried that link and installer last week, it was meant to just install over the top of my existing iTunes but threw an error that iTunes was already installed (the instructions state you don't need to uninstall so not sure why I was getting the error). Will probably try it again after attempting uninstall.

Freakin' App. Wife and daughter sitting down watching TV, App yells out at max volume - 'HOLD ME AGAINST THE WALL' in a loud but soft porno female type voice. Threw my $1500 iPhone on the floor so fast trying to reduce the volume. Tried 2nd time and the App reset the volume to max volume again by itself. This time wife heard it, looks up, stares and yells out, 'you ok?' as I wrestled with the volume button failing hard and throwing the iPhone on the floor again. Thanks to the bloody iPhone bumper case I bought yesterday, careful guys, sheesh.

Well at least you now know that she doesn’t mind your roving eye so much…

    • Cool story bruh

        Very uncool actually.

  • 'Scan with augmented reality' button seems like it's not working. 'Scan by touching wall' working though. Same for anybody else?

    • The scan by wall doesn't work for me, it doesn't detect any walls. I'm on an iPad.

  • Doesn't seem to work for me :( kind of clueless, probably have to Youtube how to use this app lol

  • anything similar on Android?
