The store manager told me they had 1.5k+ orders and their system was overloaded(ie. ozbargained)
They got sick of waiting on the phone and just gave me the order any ways. It was fun waiting around and seeing assorted people of the neighbourhood order a variety of different things.
I sent others to go in for me so awaiting the confirmation instead. Offered to send the email and show and they said no still.

Yeah looking at some of the comments here compared to my own experience, it seems this hasn't gone completely smoothly for alot of us, despite the store rep saying that orders will still be honored in all of these threads.
My order apparently didn't go through to my local store last night either, had to show the guy my email confirmation/receipt on my phone and he was happy enough to just hand me a bottle anyway (I mean, we're talking about cheap $5 brands here, I'm sure if it was something more premium then the outcome may have been different.)Anyway yeah, as a wine noob who knows nothing about these things, this 'el cheapo' brand was actually not bad and I didn't mind it at all (Sweet Lips Moscato), belated cheers for yesterday OP :D

Cheers :) Yeah it's funny how it often gets compared to Brown Brothers Moscato, which is over $10! And Gossips can regularly be found for $3.50 lol hate to think how little it costs them to make, or how little profit they're making compared to the big guys

I ordered the Cab Sav, got my SMS pick up notification last night.
I just got the notification now.
I ordered early on yesterday and only got my confirmations via email and sms at 0950 this morning.
I also ordered yesterday around 2pm and gor sms at 0903 this morning
Just picked mine up from BWS Forest Hill, VIC. There were 7 bagged bottles lined up behind the counter. The guy asked me was there some kind of deal because everyone had bought the same or similar wine!?
