What's the situation with the warranty on that ipod? Do you simply go to your nearest apple store?

I'm a bit scared to buy something like a iPod touch off eBay simply because they're so popular/big that I'm scared of the clones.
It shouldn't be a clone if you buy it from Australia. Just make sure you pay with paypal, so if anything goes wrong, you've got cover :)
Well, I actually bought something from eBay which said the item was in Adelaide, but the package I got was from Shanghai, China. It was just a pair of basketball shorts though so I didn't care.

JB HiFi actually do price beating. I was with a friend who went to get an iPod touch 4th gen for his little sister. At Harvey Norman they sold the iPod for 357 dollars. So we went to JB and we managed to get it pushed down to 349 dollars.

mate went in to OW for price beat of 5% on that $357 price as OW had it for $358 so got it for $339.15
however next day the changed price to $357 so no more 5% off

I've been looking around as well-no where's got them cheap. I ended up getting one off eBay for $327.50 posted and it came with 2 belkin case and screen protectors. Some are even going for more than what you can get at the shops for some reason…
