Glacio Ice Cream Makers - Any good?

Hi all,

My googlefu is failing me and I haven't been able to find any reviews (good or bad) on the Glacio Ice Cream Makers. See link here https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/ice-cream-maker-with-lcd-displa…

These are found everywhere on ebay, Kogan, CatchoftheDay, etc at varying prices.

Would love any opinions on those who have used one, and especially if you can relate it to the known brands Cusinart/ Breville.

I had the Sunbeam version of this..
The results are no different from the type where you store a chilling block in the freezer.
The only advantage of this is that you can do multiple batches in succession.

If you want nice, fluffy store bought style ice-cream, then this is not the maker you're looking for… for that you need a whipper. They start at around $5000 from a commercial kitchen vendor.
