Not chicken bites anymore that's for sure, for some reason they scrapped them, was one of the best things on the menu.

This app needs a lot of work. Last week I tried to use it for the BBQ Bacon lovers golden meal, it charged me twice but never sent the order or gave me a receipt just an error. FAQ says to wait for the charge on the credit card to come through then dispute it with the credit card company.

How do you actually get the discount to apply?
I've done a test run and I've gotten to the confirm button and discount still hasn't been applied!It's supposed to show up when you reach payment.
Go to "Home", scroll to the bottom and tap the 25% off tile then "apply to order".

Is the home page pick up and restaysbrt locator page?Yes, I think so, otherwise hit the burger menu icon at the top right and Home should be the first link.
You click apply to order, and it shows the discount on the final payment screen. Doesn't update in cart.
Edit: I now realise you can't find the actual button. It's to the right of the buy 5 coffees get one free button on the home page. If it's not there, you might just have to wait. Doesn't always appear straight away. App is useless.
I did a test run on 25% off last month. Showed discount applied, was charged full price. It's a very convoluted multiple button pressing way to apply the discount that you are not guaranteed to get. Who will go back to Maccas to get their $2 back after checking later in the App?

So have they actually fixed up the app? Last time I used it, it charged my card and gave me an error that my order couldn't get through. Uninstalled and haven't bothered with them since.

I don’t bother ordering with the app. I only use it to access the offers on the kiosk screen or through the drive thru. Does anyone actually know how to scan the QR code at the Kiosks? I can’t figure it out. I end up entering the 4 digit code into the kiosk or tell the drive thru person to enter the code every time. At least that part of the app works, so I can still get the discounts and the coffee loyalty card stamped.
During the ordering process on the kiosk, near the top right of the screen is a button called "Promotions" or something to that effect (it's a plainly styled button, not obvious), tap that to enter or scan the QR.
I should clarify. I can get to the scanning screen on the Kiosk and the app, but I can never get the scanner to scan the QR code. I must be holding my phone wrong or something.
Oh right, I recall having the option to manually enter the code instead of scanning as well. On the same screen.

I got 2 mcfeast meals with coffees for about $3 once when the counter staff couldn't work out the 4 digit code and applied the discounts manually, but totally failed at maths
Yeah that app is painfully atrocious. But normally for me it works fine albeit a bit slow.
However during the last 25% off deal i tried to use the app but when trying to check in .. it kept saying i was over 350m away from the maccas restaurant. I was standing bloody in front of the damn thing! Even switching to the free maccas wifi didn't help either.
From now on i just go inside and use the kiosk and place my order that way when trying to take advantage of the voucher. So much better than using the app.
Didn't realise you can get the same app offers through the kiosk. I gave up using the app.
You will still need the app on the phone to retrieve the voucher code. You can then either enter the code manually or can scan the app code via the kiosk machine. I just did it manually.

Nothing really, I was about to give up and walk away from the Maccas and when I went to close the app the 25% off icon was there!
Does anyone know why there's so many locations that don't support mobile ordering? I just looked around the Perth suburbs (North & South) and it seems there are far more locations that don't support it than those who do.
There's about 5 McDonalds between my office and home, and none of them support mobile ordering so I've never been in a position to even use it.

If you're on android, delete the cache in app settings and try again. If that still doesn't work. Delete that and app data, should hopefully show up after that. The app is a horrid piece of work.

Wow we made it through a Maccas post without some fool stating the obvious about Maccas being unhealthy. WIN!
App just fails, even showed it at the counter, Spinning wheel, gave me an extra $1 HB.
