Thanks , did not realise Bunnings have something similar. Only difference I find is 35w motor Aldi vs 30 w with Bunnings. Does that matter?
Secondly does Aldi come with wall plate control?
Of this what u reckon ? Bunnings better due to local warranty … is that 3 years or 1 year.. any idea…
Sorry for these many questions…planning to get 3 so want to ensure
The ALDI fan will obviously use 5 watts more power. ;)
I don't think a wall plate will come with it.
There is a receiver in the fan and is controlled via remote.
I just installed the Arlec (non light version) a week ago.
It's a great fan!
Stylish and very quiet.
Oh OK great. Does it come with 1 yr or 3 yr bunnings warranty?
Also looking at bunnings website, there are many Arlec fans with same 120 cm blades but different prices?
Any idea on why it is and what does higher price item offer…
As far as ceiling fans go is this the cheapest?
Might need one if this summer is as hot as the last one.
Bunnings have for 65$ same Arlec without Remote, which is what I need.
No stress in losing remote or changing batteries.
I just installed the Aldi one, and the fan unit beeps every time you press anything on the remote. Does anyone know how to turn this off? If not, it's going back.
Bought it last year. No issues. A good price for a DC fan with an LED light.
I have two 3 year old standard fans (visually identical but not DC) from Aldi as well which have proven reliable to date.
However Bunnings do now have a very similar DC/LED model going for the same price.
