Kopparberg Elderflower and Lime Cider Slab $19.95 (Currently $71.99 at Dans) @ Premix King Williamstown (VIC)

190

An AMAZING deal from Premix king in Williamstown for a slab of Kopparberg Lime and Elderflower cider for $19.99. Yep, 24 bottles for $20. Dan's has this on "special" for 3 bottles for $14 or their standard price of $71.99.

Sure, lets be honest, not many people will choose the lime and Elderflower as their first choice but its actually not bad (just drinking one now). A nice (sweet, its Kopparberg after all) cider flavor with only slight hints of lime and the Elderflower is VERY subtle.

If you are a fan of the Kopparberg sweetness, this is an incredible deal.

I'm assuming this are getting close to the use by or sell by date. But alcohol doesn't exactly go off straight away so good deal when these pop up

  • What's the deal with the puppets in the deal picture?

    • They're wearing socks.

    • They used to date, but now they're just friends.

  • I thought it was the puppets on sale at first when i saw "Kopparberg Elderflower" i thought it was one of the puppets names!. Yeah i don't drink alcohol so i have no idea of any alcohol drink brands and product names.

  • Good quality 500mL glass bottles will probably cost you a buck each anyway.

  • Just went to pick these up, but found they have an expiry date of 30th July 2017.

    • OK, thanks, did not notice. I tried them and they taste fine. I believe they are a BB date, not an expiry date. From the food standards website :

Foods that must be eaten before a certain time for health or safety reasons should be marked with a use by date. Foods should not be eaten after the use by date and can’t legally be sold after this date because they may pose a health or safety risk.

Most foods have a best before date. You can still eat foods for a while after the best before date as they should be safe but they may have lost some quality. Foods that have a best before date can legally be sold after that date provided the food is fit for human consumption.

These taste fine but not sure for how long..
