Was extra frugal last month and have some spare coins. Any random thing that I should blow my hard earned money on which will turn out useful?

That escalated quickly

So does that mean there's lawful homicide?

Used it everyday since I got it in 2011
Now you're just making me envious
Bought some Pet Zoom brushes from Catch of the Day at one point, the cats really like them and you push a button that cleans the bristles.
Random ebay link below, have no idea on this guy.

I'm thinking of getting one for a midsized Black Lab (very furry)… worth it?
When I bought them they came with two combs a smaller cat sized one and a bigger dog sized one. I certainly think they are worth a look at. They are like the little hook mesh ones so it depends on the labrador hair rather than the finer hair on a cat or small dog. You can half latch them so you can vary the depth you brush then you push the button and the sheath pushes all the hair off the brush.

An $80k high yield investment.
At a garage sale I rummaged through a shoebox full of hinges and stuff, all in original sealed wrapping. The lady owner said if I wanted a bargain the whole box was $2, which I paid. The next day my stepson unexpectedly visited from Sydney, started fixing a leaking bathroom tap, and remarked he could do it properly with a tap reseating tool. There was a new one in that shoebox. Days later, I saw Bunnings stocked it for $41.10.
Our house had an unopened one as well and I didn't realise what it was for until Google said I needed it one day.
Expensive once-in-a-blue-moon tools give you the most satisfying feeling when you happen to have them but give you the worst feeling when you have to buy them…or you need it again 10 years and discover it's all rusted and chipped.
A good siphon pump is priced at a point where I'm not sure if it's worth the investment when I need it but I regret not having one every few years.
I had never heard of a tap reseating tool, but I knew I had read the phrase recently, so I investigated. I suppose it was meant to be.
bought 10 rolls of industrial size paper towels for 5cents each from this deal from 3 years ago.
on my 6th roll at the moment.
I did experiment with slicing one roll in half to convert to toilet paper
That's a sweet deal … which I missed.
Most useful bargain I've gotten from OzB is the dash cam I bought that stopped me being charged with unlawful homicide by proving my statement was true.
Best money I ever spent.
