A site called Uproar.gg has launched into beta and it's worth a look if you want rewards for playing.
The site is free to join and users can earn points by playing their favourite games. These points can then be redeemed to win stuff such as peripherals from Razer and SteelSeries, in-game currency, special skins, gift cards, and more. Play games, win points and earn rewards.
“A gamer reward site such as Uproar seems like a natural evolution for the industry,” commented Charlie Meaden, CEO of Uproar. “Gamers invest so many hours honing their skills so they can be better players – why not give them real world rewards for all their commitment to the games they play?”
Users can also create their own communities based on their game interests. It’s early days for Uproar but it’s worth a look if you want to try and earn rewards for playing. If you like the sounds of it check it out here.
This website must have a revenue model. I'm willing to bet, you pay by letting the software (you doubtlessly have to download) monitor you and sell all your browsing activities to 3rd parties. Amiright or amiright?
