They price match anywhere in Australia, including online stores. For deals from the same city they would not include shipping in the price, outside the city they would add the shipping cost to the price then match it.
Depending on how lucky you are some might even manage to pricematch physical stores from interstate.
But pricematching isn't limited to distance, as long as there is a physical store then they will pricematch without delivery included (sometimes they take it to be that that store has to be open at the time of pricematching… just them trying to get out of it), if it's an online store and pickup is not an option then delivery will be included in the final pricematch price. With the physical store thing, like I said above it depends on who you get and how lucky you are that they will be willing to pricematch without the price of delviery for interstate brick and mortar stores, but one store I repeatedly get rejected by is OW Punchbowl.OK, hopefully I can get a price match on a store that's 1.5hrs drive away.
Do I ask the checkout chick for a price match or do I first go to the help desk for that?

They will verify the price and then tell the checkout people to give you the reduced price
Well they do pricematch online stores, but factor in the postage. I'd be surprised if they would match those Fluidtek pickup only deals if you're not in Sydney…
