I keep seeing site saying $965 return etc but can't seem to locate any deals under a grand for a flight from the 20th of this month… anyone else see one??

If you can leave on the 19th of this month Air New Zealand have flights available for under a grand. Check out travel.com.au but I'd be quick. I'm amazed that such a good price exists for such a quick departure.

What site are you using and what airlines did you check?
Adioso indicates that you can get there on 24 November for $539, and every day between 18th and 24th is under $722. However, for some reason on the VAustralia site it seems that you need to select return flights to get the cheaper rates.

If you saw an ad saying $965 return does it specify the travel dates for the sale fares? Are you sure it wasn't USD?
