I don't have enough info to submit a deal..
So I'm putting this on the forum.
Basically, you can get a daikin 707 photocatalytic air purifier (youtube/google it) for $409 from http://www.aairpro.com.au it's for a limited time.. so research/call quick.
They retail at $600.. my friend called a bunch of places.. the next nearest figure was $545
I'm probably gonna get one next week when I have some cash.. if it's still cheap.
My friend swears by his.. says he sleeps much better.
It seems the filter does have a switchable ironizer function.. but it produces negligible ozone.
It has a bunch of other filters.. it's very very quiet on low mode not unpleasant on high.
It's pretty big.. 55cm x 40cm or so.
It comes with 7 years worth of filters (a big selling point for me)..
and a one year optional-only use bio filter..
p.s. the product doesn't seem to be on their website.. you gotta call them.
also.. they have offered $50 cashback off or something if you join their newsletter and buy an 'air conditioner'.. unsure if this was included in the price… my friend has gone camping so i don't wanna bother him with more questions.
the bio filter can stop a virus i think.. to be installed just before flu season
p.p.s
it can detect smells and dust… if it's on auto mode and you fart in the room it will turn itself up.
