  • How do I qualify as an EA access member?

    • you buy subs to EA Access. Stacks up to 3 years like GOLD.

    • As above, ~$30 for 12 months @ CDkeys.com

Is this really more of a PSA that belongs in the forum than a bargain?

Its no different to Netflix adding a new show to the catalogue…

  • If this stays up I'm going to start posting movies for free for Netflix members when they're released.

    • Now let's use some common sense eh?

      • +5

What's the common sense, it's the same example. Media is released and made available on a service you subscribe to. If you value a game over a movie how is it suddenly not common sense to post it?

        • +1

A quick check of prices finds the game at $33 minimum. With this service, you pay $30 for a year, and get the game as well as others. I'm sure many people wouldn't pick games back up again after a year, so they value posts like this.

Don't get me wrong, I get your argument. But if I was looking at a deal on this game, and clicked the product tag for it to see how the pricing squared up, I'd go for a deal like this over a physical disc.

        • @Spackbace:

Not trying to impact your point, but find it interesting that shipping is showing $20.95 on that link from Amazon US on top of the cost of the game. Just checked and it shows as $20.80 shipped.

        • @jm2014:

          Good point :)

Free seems like a high price to pay for this game

  • Does this mean it's available for the PC access program too?

    • +1

Yeah it will, they're always the same

  • Knew it would come, but didn't figure THAT quickly. Too bad the ten hours trial was boring enough I didn't even finish it.

  • You know your game has failed when it's free 6 months later. It's also frequently found for $20.

People have been ragging on this game but I really liked it.

I paid $50 for it and considered it a really good buy and with every cent. For free, you can't go wrong.

I agree, I don't get why other people seem to hate it so much. Probably EA effect?

      • Possibly, maybe just left over rage from Mass Effect 3 (which I also really enjoyed)
