Except they take a bunch of stuff off eBay for this code.

    • +44

      It's almost as if there's a Catch.

    • Just realised this when I went to compare the catch website and the eBay store :(

  • +1

    They charge for shipping 😢

    • +5

was happy that I could buy toothpaste cheaper using this code than anywhere else, got to checkout and realised postage costs… Pass..

      • +2

Better buy a bunch of unnecessary stuff to make it worth the postage cost… I think that’s their reasoning. Pretty shitty.

        • I'll save my pennies for the next chemist warehouse sales.
Just shits me they don't do AMEX there.

          @ozy:

Online store and pay with paypal/amex. Voucher code FS7824 and free shipping for over $20.

        • +1

@casval: Legendary mate! Totally forgot about that loophole! Thank you

        • @casval: the code doesn't work for me :(

  • +22

As usual don't assume its a better deal because of the 20% off. For example the first product I checked was the YAS306 Yamaha Soundbar at $908.99 - 20% = $727.00

    RRP is $649.00

Seems like a good reason to neg the deal.

      • +2

Good reason to neg the 20% off eBay tech deal too because sellers jack their prices up.

Yet nobody negs. Why is that?

        • I did neg but then saw that I had forgotten the subwoofer as part of the equation so I revoked the neg. Now I can't unrevoke.

        • @Jake Elwood:

          Thanks for your response.

You’re just one person. Why does nobody else neg?

        • +1

@sillywalks: Probably because you can't just neg you have to have a "reasonable reason" and then you get the "Well no shit the prices are up. They don't want to pay the eBay fee that eBay charges them so you pay em. Seems fair." and the person who says "Neg, They're jacking the prices after." get neg'd.

        • @HeyHeyHeyIsItADeal:

Yep, like we’re back in high school…

    • +1

      I found it for $488.

      https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/yamaha-yas-306-surro…

But it’s only the sound bar and does not include the subwoofer

  • I want bluetooth earphones for sport, but they have so many options! Any suggestions to narrow it down?

    • +3

I really like my Plantronics BackBeat Fit. Mainly since I struggle with in-ear headphones. But these have decent sound, good comfort as they just poke into the ear, and don't move much when I run.

Not sure if they have them.

Edit: I think I have the original version, looks like a BackBeat Fit 2 out now, so hopefully continues the strong performance.

      • +1

Yeah i can recommend the fit also, one caveat they only do one device at a time…you can pair multiple but you have to manually disconnect and switch to the others.. no biggie but I have cheaper plantronics at work and it connects multiple without having to switch back and forth.. the version two seems to still only be one device at a time.

I was a backer for the new Bluetooth 5.0 headphones like airpods should get them in a month or so.

  • The shipping kills it unless you plan on buying heaps of stuff…

  • Austin Computers increased the price of a CPU while I had it in my basket the f**kers.
Was listed at $469, now $516.35.

  • +1

Thanks grabbed a wallet I actually had my eye on previously. Threw in some nice whisky glasses to bring the shipping down and make the whole thing worthwhile

  • Thanks op. Got a couple of pairs of sunglasses in time for summer.
CotD is my holy grail to get cheap good quality sunglasses.

  • Nothing good :( Was hoping to get Nintendo Joy-Cons but once you factor in shipping/etc, even with the neon yellow colour which isn't my first choice, it's not cheap.

  • Guys if you still want to purchase anything from the Catch eBay page. Use the code 'PCATCH' it worked for me. Tried PLUG20 and it wouldn't work when I tried to purchase a pair of Nike Air Force 1 Lows.

    Cheers,
    Goodluck guys!
