I don't know if anyone is really that passionate about their job. Do you do a job you love or hate? Why?

Physiotherapy; a diverse career with plenty of opportunities
I like to tell people I am passionate about my work (IT).
But upon deeper reflection, I am passionate only about the money it brings.
I care about my work, I care that I do it right but only because it could / would bring me to a higher amount of money.
Really wish I could say I want to make a difference, but I don't.
You can always tell when someone is passionate, they radiate enthusiasm for things which seem normal, even mundane to others.
I'm in the middle of a career change, from OHS to IT. Can't say either feel/felt like a passion, just something I'm better at and enjoy more.
if your 100% passionate about your job your being paid too much.
It's ok for me. I enjoy it, but I won't say I'm passionate about it…
I'm a dude and I realised that from a young age, there's an expectation that I'm going to be the breadwinner one day and most likely have to support a family. So when I started working, I made the decision to go down a path where I think I could maximise my salary with a job that I won't hate (that's right - I didn't need a job that I would love, but at least wanted a job that I won't hate).
So here I am in the finance industry as a manager. The salary is almost enough to balance the parts that I don't like. I generally do enjoy my job, but I think a lot of it comes down to our own attitude and what we make of our day to day work life.
Electronics Engineering…the changes come to you so you don't need to change careers to get variety and new challenges. You get the chance to be very creative and do "magical" things.
I'm currently working for http://essayviking.com/au as a freelance writer and I totally enjoy it. This work gives me an opportunity to plan my schedule independently and travel a lot. It also makes me a lifetime student, as I have to deal with a lot of different subjects which may be new to me, and I really like it about my job. When I applied to it, I thought that it would be a short time experience until something better comes along, but then I discovered that it is a great fit for me and my lifestyle.
Would the services that your company provide even legal? I would call that cheating
I'd say people have different situations. And as you know supply creates its own demand. I enjoy writing, anyway, and that's what I'm doing good. Isn't it what it's all about?
Definitely won't work in retail for life. Only doing it while at Uni
