Has anyone actually used flybuys how they were originally intended, and bought things from the flybuys store? I remember once we saved up and bought some movie tickets, but since they began allowing people to convert them to coles giftcards thats basically all I do with them these days. Every time I check the online store it all just seems like overpriced junk.
Is there a better way of using flybuys than converting it to Coles cash?
Transferring to velocity points is only better when they have the 15% bonus offer.

I rented a car once, probably 20 years ago.
Back in 2016, it was worth using flybuys to redeem hoyts e-vouchers at $9 each, but this is no longer available. Now, I use it to redeem groceries whenever 2000pts is reached (for $10). Same rate as giftcard I think.
I'm pretty much the same as you, occasionally I'll glance through what they have, but nothing appeals - just getting the Flybuys Dollars and getting my groceries "free" is far more appealing than a knife set or a magazine subscription.
