VPN 13801: IKE Authentication Credentials Are Unacceptable

Dear Experts

I contacted Teleco forum since 6 days and I couldn't get any help yet

I am using router that was provided by teleco (Netgear), and I configured the VPN as per the guideline below page 5 and my router snapshot configuration attached.

Even I used the same username as in the guideline to make sure I am following step by step

Actually not much to configure at VPN server side (Telco ADSL router)

At the client side desktop windows 7 I disabled the firewall disabled and I configured the connections as per page 36 onward.

page 36 starts with :
3.5.2.2 Configuring a Windows 7 Agile VPN Connection

I didn't need (I guess) to install any certification as I believe (could be wrong) this was not applying to my case ? Am I right ?

I can't get it work although I checked the added username and password, I can't figure out what I am missing ?

Error attached as well

Thanks

 • Telstra's Netgear routers (particularly devg2020) are nortorius for not supporting VPNs properly. People all over Crowdsupport and Whirlpool talking about it.
