Navman Mivue Drive 5" GPS & Full HD Dashcam $159.20 AUD + $4.95 (RRP $299) Delivered @ JB Hi-Fi

60

My first post. Today I was after another navman gps, but it was sold out. Found this one instead. There are other choices of GPS on sale (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/deals/car-audio/navman-navigation-…).

But this one has a very good discount. Its priced at 299 in other tech stores in Australia. I went to a jbhifi store, but they did not had the stock. They said that its also running low in stock nation wide. So bought it online with 4.95 shipping only.

Have a safe journey. Cheers!

    Ouch 1-2 star feedbacks

Glad you pointed that out. The unit described really ticks off a few boxes for my usage type.

Such a shame. I drive an older car and need a GPS. Would be so nice to remove the BT transponder and separate dash cam.
When I (also) attach my phone to the window it looks a little as though I'm in a television studio with many cameras around…
(also affects overall vision loss). Hope something else is out there with same features and better reviews.
Doesn't seem that GPS systems get great reviews overall. Had I not read your comment I may have jumped in so thanks for
      pointing out Andy.

OP, good attempt at 1st post. Just a shame about the reviews.

Yeah, I saw the reviews too. But unfortunately all navmans have similar review. I had a tomtom before… Honestly speaking these GPSs makes wrong routes sometimes, but it is what it is … and I myself am comfortable with gps rather using phone :) … But yeah, I checked the reviews too, but took a chance … if the unit is too dodgy and turns off and on, then I can return it :) … and if it has general problems as like other gps then its okey :) But best is to not use a gps at all (which is difficult for me as my navigation and street memorization skill is too poor :p )

When I used to work at Dick Smith 5 odd years ago Navmans (Navmen?) were quite unreliable with a super high return rate due to random faults. Whether they've sorted out their issues by now I'm not sure but I'd really hesitate to recommend anything from the brand to be honest.
