a variety of bottlebrush
Is it a dwarf bottle brush?
Although it looks a little like a succulent.
calothamnus dickulois red flower
It's the bush
Crimson bottlebrush
One-sided bottlebrush
Looks like a Grevillea. Bees are a good thing, not bad BTW.
a Grevillea
.
I can attest it is a ' Grevillea ' . Back in the day, as a child, we were always told we would be 'sent into the Grevillea 'Bee House'' if we didn't behave. To this day I proudly push my kids into the SAME Grevillea 'Bea House' if they misbehave, it's a tradition now.
Also I know that bush, it was planted in Kellerman Drive, Point Cook as I recall. It won 2nd prize in the Werribee native plants contest and has a lot of visitors.
Nah I know my bushes.
Grevillea doesn't branch like that. This is definitely from the calothamnus genus
Calothamnus Quadrifidus
Good work ! Yeah it is that one, previously I had mistaken it for the dickulois due to the blurred evergreen flowers
the Devils Lettuce
