So max 240GB + a very fast WIFI dongle for $980 (once you take into account the card) over 24 months.
Considering I literally picked up a few 100Mbp capable Telstra dongles being cleared out from my local post office for $5 each with 3GB/28 days data, I'm not even a bit tempted. Maybe someone else will find it useful.
Not a dongle, a portable hotspot modem which can allow a lot of connected devices at greater speeds.
They've been referred to as dongles. Yes technically they're not.
genuinely curious - what's the difference between this netgear portable router vs wireless hotspot in most Android phones? it is just faster?
This is much faster (if the network supports it)
It probably has a better antenna, so better signal (thus more stable)
It has an ethernet port so you can plug you laptop/etc into it.
Dual 2.4/5Ghz wifi
Potential pwoerbank feature (but that'll drain your modem)http://www.netgear.com.au/home/products/mobile-broadband/mob…
i see….thanks
Anyone know if you can data share this with your main mobile device or is mobile broadband data seperate?
You can share, if it's on the same billing account.
Why?
