Mitsubishi Electric MR-CX402EJ 3 Door Fridge (White or Black) $1099 (RRP $1299) @ Berloni Appliances - Heidelberg, Vic

90

I have no connection with the store - just found this googling. I have the multi door 562 litre model which is excellent. Mitsubishi have some designs unlike other manufacturers available in Australia.

A really nice quality 402 litre, 3 door fridge/freezer. Bottom mount - from the top - fridge section, veg drawer, freezer drawer. The price is only for the black or white versions. 10 year inverter compressor warranty, 5 year on the rest of the fridge. 3.5 star.

They also have the stainless version for $1189 and various other models at pretty decent prices less than RRP.

Probably worthy of it's own post. The French door 650 litre MR-L650EH $2399 (RRP $3199).

  • I also own the multi door 562 litre. However I find a lot of milk and bottles wont fill in door, do you have the same problem. I believe it is designed for Japanese soft drinks.

There's only the two spots to put them in the fridge (lower inner door pockets), but I also put drinks in the front section of the veg drawer (kind of a pre cooling spot) or lay them down on the shelves. The shelves possibly being the other thing not quite perfect - I'd prefer stronger glass (which I believe the fridge in this post has) and they are quite deep, but not very high. It's just a matter of using it a bit differently to a normal fridge.

Same. The 'fat' spots on the door are enough for my milk needs but say you have open softdrink its a game sometimes to find aspot to store it secuerly upright (veg bay as poster above points out is an OK spot till its summer and you want drinks as cold as poss). I do find the shelf (inner and door) heights a bit odd sized for a lot of things and there isn't much of an option for alternative placement. I still love my fridge more than I should for a white-goods item though.

      • Use the ice to make them cold. Maybe it’s the Japanese subtly trying to make us eat healthier? I know, $3500 was a LOT for a fridge, but I haven’t regretted it.

      • Agree. We never knew we could love a fridge!

    • I actually keep all bottles and cans in the front section of the bottom veg drawer. As we use tetra pack milk so we just keep milk in the top door space.

My wife said the black ones are bigger.

    • You sure she was talking about a fridge?

      • Well what else was she talking aboooohshit.
