Phone Deal Please!

Hi everyone, I took up the Amaysim offer just before EOFY and it's about to expire in a month time. My question is I am about to go overseas for 1.5 months and don't really need to use the phone but just to keep the number alive until I get back to Aus. In this case,

  1. what is the cheapest sim card I can get to keep the number?
  2. what company I should be looking at when I come back from overseas? The sim card has to be able to call overseas (even just 60 mins), and data for 1.5G is enough.

Thanks in advance!

Check with Amaysim. Your SIM may still be alive, so you'll be able to receive calls, but you just can't use it to dial out. Usually, your number stays alive for 12 months.

    • that would be great if they can do that…. however I still have my credit card details stored with them, can I just take the card number out?

      • switch to prepaid payg

        • with Amaysim?

        • @easoweno:

after your 6 months deal expires it will automatically shift to Pay as you go plan . so keep your mobile data off overseas and you will be fine . IN case you require to use mobile data via amaysim thats an issue but they offer roaming services in many countries just check the website
