If the TV will be in direct sunlight go LCD - otherwise I can't recommend the Panasonic enough.
65” THP65VT20A - $5499 VS Samsung 65" LED, LCD, 3D, 8 Series TV for the same price! huh, the Samsung blows the 65" Pana out of the water in everything as if you would bother with the 65" pana you would have to be brainless! to get that over a 65" LED Samsung

What reviews have you been looking at that suggest this?
The only competitor to the Pana VT20 series is the Samsung C7000 Plasma, and from the reviews I have read/seen suggest the Pana is still the better TV.
The only LCD I would be looking at the is the Sony HX900.

Those front speakers on the bonus are enormous and ugly does anyone know if they come of the stands? or if you could hook something else up in their place ?
