  • Woohoo been waiting for this.

Don't forget potential price beat at Chemist Warehouse

    • +2

Chemist warehouse are the worst… takes forever as a manager has to come all the way to the front and approve of it.

      • +1

Yea if you go to a particular busy branch, that doesn't sound unusual.

However, the process is quite clear cut and easy. They even have a price beat button which automatically calculates how it is supposed to be discounted apparently.

        • +2

Yeh I've done it before, never had a problem just sometimes have to wait up front for like 5 minutes before the manager comes.

        • +2

I tried to price beat once and the manager said I could only price beat once for the same product. So may need to go to different stores if you want a few of the same product.

      • +1

Yeah I just did a price match. The manager made a phone call to the local Priceline branch to confirm stock. It was very time consuming process.

Will be great if this includes Fudge Shaper

    • +2

Confirm that Fudge Shaper is half price - $9.89. I have never seen it that cheap before

      • Thanks, bought 4 earlier today. I noticed it’s now made in Thailand. The last batch I bought was still made in Oz.

  • Is this deal endorsed by William Shatner?

  • What sort of hair gel/wax do you guys put in your hair? (gentlemen)

See snensnay’s comments (and upvotes) above.

Fudge is very good for those of us with 'thinning' hair, really bulks up your bonce. Retails for around $16 at Chemist Warehouse so under $10 would be a bargain.

        • I’ve been using Shaper ever since I was 12. Back then, they came in much nicer, white containers. ‘Tested on hair, not animals’ is what their slogan used to say and it stayed with me forever.

        • Would it be any good on Asian hair?

        • Which Fudge product in particular?

        • Fudge used to be made by Sabre Corp. Sabre Corp also had another line, which was essentially the same product but sold outside of salons called Wakk. It was much cheaper and to me smelt a lot better. I used to be able to find it in Priceline and Chemist Warehouse but have a feeling it is no longer being made. That being said, I have been buying it online from shopandsaveonline.com.au for $2 a pot. Even with the price of shipping it works out a lot cheaper especially since they're 100g as opposed the the 75g pots Fudge is sold in now.

If you use Fudge Shaper, I would recommend getting this instead. http://shopandsaveonline.com.au/product_info.php?products_id…. The pots may look familiar to those long time users of Fudge Shaper. I buy a few at a time to save on shipping. This stuff never goes off as I've had pots that are over three years old and still work fine.

      • Dominate Hair Clay Out of Bed.

Excellent hold. Easy to wash out. Matte finish.

        Source: Asian with short hair.

    • I've used both Muk and Uppercut, Fudge Shaper was very plasticky and had a chemical smell.

      • Yeah, not a fan of Fudge. I remember they tried marketing their products at the $20+ price range…What a joke.

      • +1

Muk is currently the best for me (the red one), how does it compare to Uppercut?

        • I like the purple one - it's a lot easier to spread around and still has a decent hold (but not as strong as the red one).

        • Yes, same here. But it is always very costly and rarely on sale. Where do you buy it from?

        • @Austin 316:

I buy mine from ebay when they have sales like "spend $100 and get $15 back" etc.

  • Can anyone recommend a good texturising spray?

    • toni and guy

  • Damn still got almost all the shampoo and dry shampoo from last round. We stocked up for the year and a bit.

    Love the smell of Garnier.

  • Any conditioner you guys can recommend? Lately I've noticed my hair is getting dryer than usual :(

    • schwarzkopf gliss.

      • thanks! will check it out

    • Herble essences in the coconut one

  • Dammit bought John Freida for $6 off at Chemist Warehouse last week which was not half price :( should have waited!! If you have dyed brown hair I highly recommend the Brilliant Brunette line for adding brown back into the hair inbetween dye jobs. Other colour care lines don't do a lot to make your colour stay a nice shade of brown.

  • Where is this advertised? I can't see it anywhere on their website.

    • that's because it only started today.

    • Priceline members would've received the email about the deal on Sunday afternoon. Wouldn't be on the website until it's officially launched.

  • Anyone know about stop hair loss shampoo.

    • Personally, I use this

Don't know whether it actually works or whether there's any better product out there, but price wise, the Priceline 50% off hair care deals like these are the cheapest you can get this particular product.

Get it price matched (beaten) at Chemist Warehouse for further discount.

  • And there goes $110. Goddamnit Ozbargain, you're suppose to save me money!

  • No discount on Tangle Teezers

  • Just got some shampoo from store.Yes its cheaper than Chemist warehouse ( today only ).
