At the start of the year I bought a Sennheiser Momentum In Ear Headset. The earphone and microphone worked fine in 2 devices - my Moto G4 Plus and also my Dell XPS 12 laptop.
However in the last few months I bought a Moto G5 Plus and the Sennheiser microphone part doesn't work with it - the earphones work fine. I did get it to work once but only not fully inserted into the socket and that was not repeatable.
Also the headset that came with the mobile and Etymotic MC2 headset both fully work with the Moto G5 Plus.
In short 2 devices work with the Sennheiser but 1 device doesn't. Also 2 devices work with the Moto G5 Plus but 1 device doesn't.
So which device isn't up to specifications or are both on the opposite end of the tolerances?
What should I do? I'm inclined to push the Sennheiser headset retailer as it's cheaper and less hassle to return for repair/refund/replacement.
Anyone else have this issue?
Does the senheiser 'still' work on the other phone and lappy? I'm guessing you checked that?
