  • $599 for an atom processor and a halo keyboard that is impossible to touch type on? No thanks I'll pass, this is a gimmick and a party trick and not much else.
Even the guy at JB said not to buy one when I asked him if it's any good - he also couldn't work out how to turn it on and light up the keyboard though.

Having said that though, this is the lowest I've ever seen it, especially the android version.

Lol you really believed what the jb guy told you?

      • Well if even the guy at JB is saying it's no good and he earns commission on every unit he sells, then yes I believe he must have had a good reason.

Having said that though I said I was going to be typing a lot on it, and using it for uni stuff (including a stats program) so maybe that was why he said it was unsuitable?

  • Does anyone have a code they want to share? I'm pretty keen to grab the YogaBook but wasn't subscribed to their list to receive a unique code.

    Thanks!

I’ve mucked around with one for awhile and it had its moments.

I’m used to typing on an iPad so the glass keyboard didn’t bother me.

I think if your usage is light it could work. You wouldn’t want to run anything demanding. The one I played with ran Android. I have no idea how it’d handle W10.

The thing is featherweight and small.

I wouldn’t buy one online. I’d go instore and have a play around to see if it works for you.

    Hope this helps.

  • This is massively over priced for what it is. The only reason to have a keyboard is to increase your typing speed and reviews all say this is terribad. Other thing is the lack of power for price, you can easily get 2 in 1 laptops from Ebay for less every few sales.

    • They'll also weigh 3x more than this, and not have the main selling point - the Wacom digitizer that works through the included paper notepad. It's a niche product for a niche market - there's nothing on the market like it.

I think it can be useful for some people. If you don't intend to type a whole lot, it could be useful.. e.g. when on holiday. At 690g it's lighter than a tablet + keyboard case, and quite a bit slimmer too.
