$15 tickets are a good deal, if you really wanted to go. But it doesn't include anything but entry. Personally I've hoping to get free tix, so not sure if this is a bargain… But it's still better than the food and wine show!
I actually enjoyed it when I went to the one in Perth as I got to try "tasters"of food that's normally pretty pricey for full servings at the resturant so that I didn't have to fork out the $50 or so dollars to go there and find out that I didn't like/enjoy it so I personally really appreciate these events. $15 > $50 to find out what I like

Pay for entry to pay for over priced worse than food court food. Sad thing is there will probably be a queue a mile long to get in.
No lines if you get there when they open and hop in as soon as the crowd passes.
I went last year with free tickets and still felt ripped off :D the sample size (bite sized) food were overpriced and so were the drinks :( At least it was close to home but now the venue has changed I wont be going even if I find some free tickets.
Same, though the workshops I find are always a great reason to go.
They usually hand out free tickets at the front, particularly if you go on Thursday or Friday.
