Linksys WRT32X AC3200 Wi-Fi Gaming Router

Any thoughts on this new router? I currently have 3, Asus RT-AC88U, TP Link Archer C9 and Google Wifi. Am on Opticomm getting all 100 Mbps speed with low latency. I use the Asus as my primary as its really responsive. I know Linksys was king of the hill a long time ago, I mean a very very long time ago. Maybe this is gonna make it great again.

  • Wow you already have 3 modern routers and want another? Why?

    • +1

      He must really enjoy routing….

      • yeah but op is posting here so their network must be routed pardon the pun

      • Actually I must admit I am quite fond of routing…

        • Routing is pretty awesome must admit it was hard for me to not buy my first modern router and then all of my self control to not buy another one.

But I have a good reason not to.. one is I need to make my gaming beast soon or at least within a year.. It's been too long I am making my return to pc gaming some time hopefully soon within two years gah…..I just said one :(

P.s. I am a netgear fan boy.. So Netgear Nighthawkhthawk X6 R8000 for me it's a router only not a modem so won't work for FTTN first line of connection connections.

  • Look at reviews/benchmarks on SmallNetBuilder, then decide for yourself.

  • Looks good but atm my AC68U is doing everything im after perfectly.
maxing my NBN 100/40 with 4 ping

Though if i run Ethernet to PS4 and PC so no need for the best wifi maybe if i movie and need better wifi.

  • Btw OP how big is your house? I am assuming it is multi level or something other wise that is a lot of routers. Or do you have wires of Ethernet cables running all over the place?

  • Ubiquiti UniFi wireless access point and the Edgerouter are far more reliable than this consumer gear. Give it a go. I haven't looked back and I am frequently getting over 100mbps through my Telstra Cable service.
