Most KT games are $59.99 on Steam so Nioh should be as well.
The PS4 version with the discount is cheaper.

I've heard ports from Koei Tecmo in the past are generally bad. I've no experience, just from what I've read online ever since news of Nioh coming to PC popped up.
I think they leave it to hackers to do things like adjusting FOV … just things that give people headaches and things playing on PC so nbd :p
Nah not just that, they generally just gimp the PC ports compared to their PS4 counterparts, like in their latest release Blue Reflection, they're using some 720p assets on PC but 1080p for the PS4. They've also done weird things like mix and matching PS3 environments with PS4 character models on some of their ports as well. Not sure why they go the extra for a worse product…
I think for Blue Reflection, that was a miscommunication. The screenshots themselves were sent at 720p, but the internet took that to mean as the game was 720p. The actual game is pretty much identical to the PS4 version.
As for gimped ports, yes some of KT games can be on steam, they get ported without graphical options like up to 1080p resolution only (no 1440p, 4k etc), or locked framerate. The only one that's run poorly has been Atelier Firis, but that also ran bad on everything.
Regarding Nioh - it remains to be seen what type of port it is, to be safe just wait until the game is out, and buy on steam so you can refund it if you don't like it.
I almost bought this when it was on sale for $47 recently. $31 is a great price.

This news makes me excited (I say that now, I'll be swearing and carrying on after my 380th death).. I'm a DS/BB vet too and found BB/DS3 to overall not be as difficult as their predecessors.
Never managed to finish any of the DS2 DLCs back on the Xbox 360, so I'd place Nioh at that level of frustration if that's the sort of challenge you're looking for
Is anyone having problems with psn account? I tried to pay for the games but PSN could not verify my paypal and credit card. I had no issue in the past.
The PSN store is just the worst. Mine was playing up a fair bit but eventually it went through. Maybe have another go.
Mine has been busted for months. Just DOES NOT work. I have been getting my PSN credit from JB HiFi online.
Have you tried purchasing using your PS4? I can't buy anything using PC but the purchase on PS4 went through.
Try doing it on their browser store (assuming you're trying to purchase on your console). I've always had troubles verifying my card when I purchased anything from the store on the console itself.
A bit of a wild shot, but when my original PSN account got banned and I made a new one, I couldn't use my CC or PayPal either, reason being they were listed under that original account. Have you used PayPal or the same CC on a previous account? If so, that might be why you're having problems now.

Just grabbed the deluxe for 54 as worked out 3 dollars cheaper!
$3 cheaper than what? The base game is $30.95, and the Season Pass is $17.95, which equates to $48.90 when bought separately..
The Deluxe version comes with both of those plus a bonus avatar and 3 bonus weapons, but is $6 dearer by my count.

Was about to pull the trigger but then news came that a PC version is due out in November so will wait for that. Can't wait to run that baby in 4K at 60fps on my GTX 1080TI!
