  • Nice timing.

Nah, I hate Wilson Parking because you have to specify your entry and exit time. Yhey give you grace period of one hour on both side but if it's outside those hours, you get charged extra full day parking.

I prefer Secure Parking because you don't have to nominate your hours and they're more flexible with the entry and exit time.

Sorry OP, nothing personal directed to you. I just think for the same price, Secure Parking has a better value.

    • I've always found that Secure Parking was more expensive where as Wilson's was usually cheaper.
Also found that Wilson's seem to give better discounts for booking online, where as Secure Parking was pretty stingy so was easier just to rock up.

Everyone has there preference and I use whatever is cheaper but preference is no reason to downvote

  • Someone mentioned here that there is a 50c booking fee for Weekend Parking. Whereas Secure Parking is $1. In case you want to make proper comparisons between the two.

  • Slightly unrelated, but how to check how much credit (free $50 credit from the Velocity x Wilson deal) is in your account? Can't seem to find the tab

    • they send an invoice at the end of the billing month for Wilson One. Normally how it works is you that spend $X on parking during the month using the card and then are billed like a post paid phone plan, if that makes sense. On your Invoice it should say like -$40 or whatever. the "-" meaning you are in credit.

      • Ah ok, so I'll just have to check my last invoice. Hopefully it'll say when the credit expires. Ta

  • Cheaper with Secure Parking deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/293127

  • Hope someone familiar with Wilson Parking bookings can help.

During booking, Entry and Exit time must be provided.

    • Can I specify the broadest timeframe required e.g 4pm-11.30pm, and just enter and exit sometime within this timeframe? Like Secure Parking. (With Secure Parking, if, say Night Parking product is selected, as long as one enters after 4pm and exit before the specified end time defined by Night Parking, it would be fine.)

    • Or does one have to stick to the nominated Entry time to enter, and Exit time to exit, in order not to cop additional fees?

PS. Just re-read carefully the comment above - looks like the latter. But surely, Exit time is sort of hard to know, especially if one is going to see a live show - which this code is originally meant for. Does anyone know if they actually enforce this if you are outside one hour of specified entry/exit time?

Bot Sure about the Entry but you can just exit anything before the nominated time.

      • Thanks. It is quite OK then.
