Not a safe thing at all, but I've seen it done. Definitely dont recommend it! I suggest getting a xiaomi power strip, as most of them have sockets that fit all devices with either US or AU plugs - the Chinese power point is an Australian powerpoint upside down!

Did exactly this with my qc3 charger. US plug. Used a figure 8 cable from an unused dvd drive.
Same thing with 2 media boxes. Also US plug. Shop that sold me it provided us to aus adapter plug.
US as they are flat type plugs that in some cases can be bended to fit AU plugs.
