ALDI Special Buys 07/10 Assorted 5.5w Dimmable LED Bulbs $5.99ea

130

Bought some of these a couple of months ago in ES14 and hooked them up to a trailing edge dimmer from eBay.

Wasn't expecting them to dim very well but was pleasantly surprised, they dim smoothly down to about 30% which is pretty good (dimmer is minimum 10w load).

Paid $4.99 each then but would still buy for this price and great value for dimmable.

  • Dimmable candle LEDs are included in the Vic Gov free LED replacement program.

    • Do you have any recommendations for a supplier to replace our house globes? I contacted one, was told their sparky would call me, waited a week without a call and tried again, got told the sparky would call within 3 days and just never got anything.

      • Happy to recommend ledsaves.org (Nunawading). They replaced 160 globes for me last year (MR16, BC, ES, GU10 and dimmable candle). Very happy with the quality of globes installed. Don't see the VEET program globes on their website anymore. Give them a call and I'm sure they will either help you or point you in the right direction.

You might as well leave your Christmas lighting on your house all year round for “RGB” effect XD

      • I do. Have you seen the new RGB dog coats?

        • Haha are you planning to buy one for your pet dog?

        • @edfoo: Well my grey would require extra large which they dont even make but it would be >$400USD so no. Haha

  • Cri 90+? Wow
