I haven't recieved an email/text for my mini snes preorder from EB games either.
The preorder status is "processing".I put two separate orders through with EB for pre-order, pick-up instore - one for the SNES, one for the adaptor a few days later.
I received an SMS a few days ago saying the adaptor would be ready for collection, but received nothing on the SNES.
Took my chances anyway and went instore this morning and had no issues at all collecting both items.
I got an email from them, but I think its taking a while, the email said
"As today [Friday] is a public holiday in Victoria, this does mean your delivery will not arrive until Monday 2nd October at the earliest. If it is also a public holiday on Monday 2nd October, the earliest the courier will attempt delivery is Tuesday 3rd October."
Delivery for me is through Toll Priority

They finally sent me an SMS saying my order is ready to pickup, but guess what, the message was sent at 3:58pm!
WTH! That's 2 minutes before they close (4pm)…shit JBHIFI! I will never pre-order from you anymore!
I read awhile back that the orders are being fulfilled on Monday due to the Melbourne public holiday on friday.
