      Carbon Fibre Looking, definitely.

      If it were carbon fibre, you wouldnt get any signal from your phone. We tried it when making some CF items for uni, and my friend had the idea of making and selling cases. Quickly broke down when we tested for reception and it just blocked all of it.

          CF is conductive so it has some effect on reception, but phones will use extra power to try get 100% signal so it's no good for cases regardless.

    I had a Nilkin on my S7 Edge and now on my S8+. For a few bucks more, very similar minimalist design (basic protection, slim design). Around $10 on ebay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192239666706

    I wouldn't buy one of these for an Edge without seeing how it protects the edges but does not interfere with the edge functionality.

          I mean looks to be carbon fibre as not being in a position to physically assess it.

          Carbon fibre cases with tpu side edges aren't special. Carbon fibre and that can't be sold to aerospace, vehicle manufacturers and sporting goods are cheap.
