Hey guys,
I have decided not to buy a dedicated gaming pc as of now and am looking to upgrade my home desktop to play games.
Specs:
Intel i5-3470
4gb ram
Motherboard: Asus H61M-E
My current plans are to get 8gb ram and add a gtx 1050ti.
My question is can the pc run games like PUBG, GTA V and the new COD at 1080p at med-high settings at around 60fps?
If not, what else graphics card will work with my motherboard?
Thanks

Would a 1060 be worth putting in?
Depends on your budget and how long you plan on keeping this system for. The i5-3470 won't significantly bottleneck a 1060 in many realistic use cases so it's absolutely a viable option. On average you're paying ~$140 more for the 3gb variant and ~$190 more for the 6gb variant if you do switch out the 1050ti for the 1060, so if you can swing it in your budget and your power supply has the right connectors it's a solid step up.
Your motherboard won't be the problem but your case or power supply maybe the limiting factor. ie. aftermarket GPUs maybe too long or require 8pin connectors. crack open your case to make sure and happy gaming!
Go GTX 1060 Minimum for 1080p at decent or max settings 60fps
3gb or 6gb?
6GB
This. I would go for a 1060 minimum 1070 optimum for a decent 1080p gaming with no problems down the road with more powerful games coming out nearly every year.
The GTX 1050ti is the ideal accompaniment for your i5-3470, and those two are absolutely capable of handling the games/settings you mentioned.
Good call on the RAM upgrade also - 8GB is really the minimum nowadays. You've got yourself a rock solid budget system there!
