The Vodafone $50 Nano Pre-Paid Starter Pack is a low-cost starter pack ideal for more casual users of pre-paid phones.

Edit: after activating this SIM I'm actually greeted with the following terms for this prepaid account:

$50 Talk Combo Starter Pack. Includes 9GB Data, Infinite standard national calls & TXT within Australia, 90 minutes calls to selected 58 countries & 1000 minutes calls to selected 25 countries.

so it appears it does not give you unlimited International calls, but rather it will give you 1000 minutes of standard international calls to these countries:

Argentina, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States of America.

    I get free calls to most of those countries with amaysim, think I paid 28 bucks for 6months access with 2gb a month data… They use optus.

      Haha, trying to save $7? Good OzB thinking. But I think not from what I recall, as the system knows what kind of SIM it is at activation.
