Advice on How to Get Buzz Telco to Refund

Hi everyone,

I cancelled my subscription even before i got a service
activated by buzztelco over all the bad reviews i saw.
I requested a refund on the 11/9/17 & i have got emails after emails
from their billing dept telling me my refund is being processed
but i've still not got my money back. Its been over 2 weeks.

I've called them & they dont transfer calls to billing.

What more can i do to get my money back ? any advice ?

      TIO takes all complaints seriously, regardless of the monetary value of the claim.

      Just fill the online form and submit it.

      Also, contact your bank to cancel your direct debit, and also get a refund for the payment that you've already made.

  • They are absolutely hopeless as far as billing goes. They have done things like:

    Ring me twice warning that I'm in debt after I have given them direct debit details many times including the last time they rang.

    Gone for 4 months without sending me a bill. Probably would have gone on forever. I had settled on the 2 occasions they rang but this was later on. They had lost my dd details for the umpteenth time and I was sick of giving them to them. I had to prompt them here when they posted a deal, to get a bill sent.

    The payments you make take months to show in your account online, if they ever do. I guarantee I will be showing as months in arrears even though I am scrupulously not, but I've given up looking. I will just keep BPaying them toward the end of the month so at least I know what's what. I won't give them dd details again.

    So your problem is likely to be routine incompetence not anything sinister.

    The actual internet service is fine, no complaints, apart from the week down. Did I mention that? Well 6 days anyway.

    Why not just refund it in that time it took to reply my mail ?
    The incompetence of these ppl are unbelievable to say the least

  • Same thing happened to me. Buzztelco are in a serious mess at the moment and will probably fold.

    I file a complaint with the TIO, cancelled future payments by contacting the bank, emailed them daily requesting a refund and Posted how shit they were on every social media forum.

    Eventually they paid up.

  • Same overhere,, signed up almost 2 months ago still no internet or modem recived. canceled my subscription and asked a refund a few days ago, havnt heard anything back yet. they are absolutly shocking! even if they went trough a outage or something like that there customservice is non existing. can only hope to get my money back.
