  I got an email from them that says tax invoice. I am pretty sure I got a printed copy with the item too. Why do you ask?

    Because I didn't receive the invoice in any format…

        I received a plain text invoice. Didn't look like a proper invoice. Email id from which I received the invoice also not relevant to Microsoft.

        @ozzbargainer: apart of the need the document has the word TAX INVOICE see here what tax invoice meant to look like https://www.ato.gov.au/Business/GST/Issuing-tax-invoices/

  Report them to the Taxation Department for failing to comply with tax laws. Send a CC copy to the likes of Senator Sam Dastyari (Mr. Bean) who like to jump on the 'beat up a multinational tax dodger' bandwagon. And to Pauline 'Pantsdown' Hansen who hates all offshore businesses.
