Per title, I will be travelling to Finland and Norway in late Dec to early Jan. A quick search online tells me the temperature can drop down to as low as -15 Celsius.
I've previously travelled to places where it gets close to 0 Celsius, but have always made do with typically what I wear in Aussie Winter, just with an added layer or two.
I have a feeling that's not gonna cut it this time though! So what are the typical Ozbargainer recommendation for warm winter clothing that can withstand the cold? (Would Uniqlo Ultra Warm Heattech be a good inner layer?) Preferably something that will not break the bank as it's probably something I will only use once in a blue moon.
I’ve lived in quite cold countries and in my experience Australian products aren’t designed for those extremes. The products you can buy here that are good enough are quite expensive compared to buying it over there. It’s a necessity in those climates so it’s a bigger market/more competition.
