Has anyone had experience with ordering food (confectionary, chocolate) from Walmart in US and having it "reshiped" to
Australia? Walmart doesn't allow international orders.
I'm looking at shipping about 12kg.

What are you looking at buying? Most of my USA favorites I've found at either Costco or USA Foods
Ah didn't even think about a specific limit on confectionery!
Ordered from USA foods before, however there is a variety of products that they don't stock or don't have in stock.
I've priced a few parcel redicretion services and it still works out viable to do it this way.I’ve used myus.com lots of times, that weight would cost a bit, I’d also be concerned about customs being food, I know it’s hard to bring items from USA containing dairy. What are the foods? I know a few places in Australia
Mainly chocolate bars and sweets that's hard to obtain in bulk with wholesale prices in Australia. I've looked in to shipping prices and the quantities that I would be getting equates to about $1 per unit (single bar etc). I haven't been able to find anywhere in Australia that has the range that can match the price it would cost me to get it myself.
USA Foods is the closest I've found, but there's plenty more products I want that they don't have.Try bonfect in Sydney they are a wholesaler and have a good range of products
You may need someone with an ABN to buy it for you if you don’t have one

The weight of the freight is a health hazard for your wallet.
Even if you can find someone to do Parcel Redirection, you may need to keep it under 10 kilograms (see Confectionery). Mailing Goods to Australia http://www.agriculture.gov.au/travelling/bringing-mailing-go…
(maybe 2 parcels)

You could try: https://www.priceusa.com.au (because Walmart won't send to some Parcel Redirection addresses)
