With 20% off, a bag of 10kg Royal Canin British Shorthair food costs more than what I just pay at PetCircle…

Make sure you check prices first!

    • yeah, but pet circle price beats every competitor daily

  • Up to 25% off cat and dog food and up to 50% off rabbit and guinea pig food.

  • I pay $20 for $24kg of dog food, but then I'm a cheapskate.

    The dog is very healthy.

    • Poor dog.

  • The Burgess guinea pig nuggets would have been a great price but the website says they're short dated and expires this month or next month.

  • Wow pet food companies come out with some marketing crap, EUKANUBA ROTTWEILER 12KG, so now there's food for specific breeds.

As if a breed needs different nutrition.

They do - I bought a miniature poodle (4 kilos) - it was an annoying yappy thing - so I purchased some large breed Labrador food.

      Skip forward 6 months

I now have a Labradoodle - 60cm at the shoulder and weighing in at 34 kilos.

      • Are you sure you didn't end up with a poodor?

        • Nope - we put the poo-dor component of the mix into the back door and he uses it to do it. By a process of elimination (pun intended) we have a labra-doodle left. (Its a real breed people - look it up)

        • @Sainter Dad:

Labradoodles are gorgeous, there's a huge one at my doggie school (standard poodle and lab).

        • @Scab:

We seriously do have a Labradoodle - 34 kilo - 60 cm at the shoulder - Chocolate. He is a charming old boy - but he seriously thinks he is a 4 kilo lap dog. He is 11 - carries a teddy bear around everywhere - even on walkies - chases a tennis ball until he cannot stand up - and then chases it more - he does not understand why we stop throwing it for his healths sake - lol. Sneaks up and sleeps on beds if we are not home! He is truly a small dog in a big dog body - I cannot believe someone put him up for "adoption" at 18 months old. We were not going to get a big dog - but when he put his head in my lap and looked up with those puppy dog eyes - we were sold.

        • @Sainter Dad:

The one at my doggie school is a copper colour, so beautiful and so well-mannered.

Even puts up with my dog trying to hump him.

And good on you for adopting.

    • That sounds a lot like Neurofen selling pain killers for specific types of pain. The pills were all the same, but the prices were a lot higher than "standard" Neurofen, and they got into a lot of trouble for that.

Um different breeds do need different nutrition.
      Source: am a vet

      • Bullshit, explain how a rottweiler and other breeds needs a different diet?

      • I'm sure that you think they do. That's why veterinary clinics are full of the most expensive pet food you can buy. Before you know it, we'll have have pets being diagnosed as lactose and gluten intolerant.

Fortunately my dog survives quite well on the supermarket stuff.
