its nike.
actually these pants do fit well if you're fit … if you're fat, you need to look for something else cause they are slim fitting.
I am sure you can find slim fitting pants for around $20 as well. I am still unable to see why someone would pay $120 (or $60 in this particular case) for a brand logo?
cause they look and fit great…
Same as those who buy the Apple or Samsung phones rather than Chinese branded phones even though it has the same specs.
Yes it is quiet expensive and I rather go to Kmart or BigW and buy it for $10-20 but some people just have to have logos embedded into their clothes, shoes and phones. (Those that only goes to shops like Myer, David Jones etc).
@HandsomeMonkey:
i would never wear anything from kmart or bigw in public LOL HAHHAA …if u want cheap, i'd go to a uniqlo or similar… but kmart and big w just dont have anything nice… might as well buy your clothes from aliexpress.
Having owned Nike and cheapo trackpants, I've noticed that the Nike trackpants were significantly better. The quality of the material is a lot higher, meaning that they last for ages and don't pill. Just my experience though.
There are lots of nice clothes in BigW and Kmart.
Maybe you're the type of guy who follow modern day styles and trends and you looked cool. As for me any shorts or jeans and a T-shirt is good enough. The last time I went shopping in Myer and David Jones was in early 2000 I think.:)
Not that I am cheap or poor and cant afford expensive clothes. It just that I rather spend money on other shit like foods, electronics and long holidays. :)
There are lots of nice clothes in BigW and Kmart.
Now thats funny lol. Kmart and Big W sell ill fitting garbage that breaks down after a few washes. If youre happy not caring about your appearance at all or happy to wear a shirt 2 sizes bigger on you, then by all means go ahead.
They are VERY tight around the calves, so keep that in mind if you have anything other than skinny legs.
I had to size up (M to L) in this style, and can barely cinch the waist tight enough to keep them from falling off.
And they are crazy soft
They're made using a higher grade of child labourer…
teenagers
I guess you would never buy Supreme or Bape then.
Bought a pair of trackies off the Country Road site for $30 after the extra 25% for members. Excellent quality material, with zippers, and Country Road rates highly on the Good on You app. They were normally $100.
Might have zippers, but missing the Swoosh™
Yeah I saw those in David Jones, very similar sort of styling to these and much more reasonable price.
I wear these pants and I can confirm that they look sensational on me
Good find:) i have been holding off paying 120 for a pair of these for a while now.
Got one… Thanks OP.
better price than at the nike outlet factory in south wharf melbourne. got one. my fourth (2nd grey). :)
People actually wear these in public?
I take it you dont go to the gym?
If you can wear trackpants, you might be at the gym but you're not really 'at the gym'
Different clothes for different seasons. Different workout outs for different people, not everyone is doing intense cardio.
How the hell do you workout in the gym with fleece you'd be sweating in seconds.
Only going by what I've heard, but sweating is apparently part of the "exercise experience"
Some people want that. It causes things to happen that do not happen otherwise.
Winter only obviously. I actually go to the gym so i can comment, no one at the gym wears shorts in winter(not in melbourne anyway).
@F-22: I wear shorts in winter and most of the people who go to the gym I fequent. If I were to go wearing pants, I would change to shorts before the workout.
@Colombian: I've got no problem with anyone wearing whatever they want to wear, that i just my experience.
@F-22: Who said I had a problem with that?
@Colombian: Who said they said you had a problem, say I? :D
@dm01: lol
@dm01: I don't have a problem with him thinking i thought he had a problem with it.
Hmmm, didnt know so many 16 year olds were on Oz-B
Says the guy who posted a deal for AND1 shoes…
haha, yes, but that actually was a deal. $14 for some weekend bbal kicks, cannot complain there.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!
These are amazing, even though i cringed at paying $100 for trackpants, these really are super comfy and have gotten amazing wear out of them.
Great at the gym in the colder months, running to the shops without looking like a homeless junkie or uni being comfortable while sitting for hours on end while again, not looking homeless.
You seem to have a fear of appearing to be homeless.
I just don't want to look like this Kmart spec slazenger track pant wearing guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=620xTpJTZrY
Typo? Nike Tech you been Fleeced Pants $66?
$66 for a pair of grey trackies! Outrageous
don't you see that little nike logo on it?
i dont get it - we are ozbargain - we dont care about brands
I was being sarcastic
but the votes on the deal are not
Ozbargain is all about the brands, whole point of ozbargain isn't to buy cheap crap, it is to get good stuff at bargain prices.
@Dingus: like my $1 gold watch
Its almost as if bargains mean different things for different people
Fully sick, accessorises with my new neck tattoo!
If they were shorts….would they be only half-sick?
I'm not normally one to shit on stuff that is valued way higher than I feel feasible…. but $120 trackies is absolutely one of those things.
theiconic periodically has 50% off sportware.. couple that with $20 off codes(new accounts) and amex's spend $200 and get $40 back.. u can score these puppies for $45ea.. I call it the bargaining perfect storm
Where’s that spend $200 offer?
My comment implied that if you're patient and willing to wait you can get nike/adidas sweatpants for cheaper. All the deals i mentioned were posted on here approx 6-8 months ago. It pays to link deals including using cashback sites to get the most out of your dollar.
But they won’t always come active at the same time. Also stock levels on the iconic are almost always low for this product with some sizes out of stock sometimes
I've been a little lucky this year I bought 2 Nike black sweatpants(81% cotton) for $15ea from theiconic.. 2 Adidas Navy blue sweatpant(80% cotton) bought from Amazon at $17 USD. Thick quality gear too. In my opinion $66 is hardly a good deal for sweatpants.
Thanks, grabbed a pair. Much more durable and much higher quality then cheap brands. Worth the $
Good deal for what they go for, waiting for a different colorway though
Where's the deal for bumbags? Going to also need a Gucci hat.
When you are done can you post a good deal on ozbargain for some pills?
was waiting for the black one, grabbed a pair though. Thanks op
The best way to save $66 is to not buy them at all.
I think JD Sports has been Ozbargained - the site seems down "THE PAGE YOU'RE ATTEMPTING TO VIEW
IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE."I think i've seen the grey tech fleece with a segmented design for $33 on sundays at Nike outlet harbour town. Probably last years design or even the '15 season. There's also the catch of the day nike academy tracksuit set for $70 w/delivery.
$59.95 + postage tracksuit deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/331365
Been looking for a deal on these for a while too, they never go on sale on their own and although rate them highly, cannot justify $120. Thanks for posting, purchased 2 for myself and a mate!
Thanks! Might have to do the same myself at some stage…
Looks like they're not sending them out despite taking my money, I'll file a complaint through PayPal in a day.
I received mine today!! So they definitely did send them out.
Thanks Julz, mine came today as well!
How is this one different from generic $20 or so brands available at target/kmart/big w etc?
