Outlast Deluxe Edition FREE @ Humble Bundle

4190

Includes Whistleblower DLC

Steam link

Good freebie! Expires Sunday 3AM AEST. Apparently I need 10 words.

The redemption deadline is October 7th, 2017 at 10:00 AM Pacific. You have 15 days left!

Immediately after 10AM Pacific on October 7th, the Steam key will magically vanish as if it were just a figment of your imagination, leaving this cryptic message behind in its wake.

496 here. Just a few more useless games and I'll make it over 500 unplayed!

      • +1

Close to 400 :( I really need to start playing them before I retire…

      • I joined the 500 game club earlier this year :(

      • 473.. and I only really play 1 -_-

        900 or so

Best played home alone in a dark room with headphones at 2 a.m.

    • +4

Best played in hospital alone in the dark with headphone after midnight.

      • +1

Best played in an insane asylum in the dark at 2:01am on a Monday while watching the movie Session 9 with headphones.

        • +11

Best played on a really expensive gaming laptop, wearing Beats by Dre headphones in a 24 hour superclinic that dispenses methodone on a Wednesday at 3am, right after the centrelink hits the bank account.

        • @Wallyt99:
best played on a potato, wearing bananaphones, snorting crack off a methodone users sweaty back in the middle of an underpass in the rain.

        • Best played with VR headset, 7.1 surround sound headphones out in the country in the middle of nowhere, under a bridge surrounded by swamp next to an abandoned army field hospital and near where the old "no mans land" used to be, there should be no light pollution and no moon, cloudy, rainy, windy and wolves howling in the background.

        • @bex000: lolololol

          🤣

@Wallyt99: the prospect that an ozbargain user bought beats by dre is more scary than the game

        • @didntknowicould:

Preferred headphone of junkies and ice addicts thoughm

    Thanks OP, I love free.

Fantastic! I was seriously considering buying this only a few days ago so I'm stoked that I can get it AND the DLC for nothing - great find op!

  • Excellent work OP

  • Another Horror Free game that i would not play cause im a (profanity)

    • +1

Watch other people play and circumvent any first-hand suffering. :D That, and it is honestly a game worth experiencing in any shape or form. Still my favorite horror to date and the whistleblower DLC feels like another game of its own in terms of scope and plot.

  • 188 votes - Thats a bargain.

  • sorry noob question - what's that redemption deadline? does that mean we must install it on our PC before that date? but what happens if I uninstall it straight after (if I dont want it to take up space). Would the key be gone after I uninstall it? thanks

    • The steam key last till 10AM Pacific on Saturday, October 7th, 2017. But you can play it DRM free forever so long as the game is on your humble account.

    • In the case of Steam, the redemption deadline is the date by which you have to have activated the key.

So you have to claim your free key before 24/09. But you have until 07/10 to activate it on Steam. If you activate it before that date, the game is yours permanently. If you try to activate it after that date, the key will be expired.

I'm not sure what the case is for the DRM free route though.

    • thanks guys, gee they dont make it easy do they :)

Great find OP! A great game for the whole family!

Lol this has become my most voted deal thanks to OzBargainers and their love for freebies ><

      We're cheap nerds mate.

  • Thanks OP. Just finished Outlast on Xbox One and was going to buy Whistleblower.

This game is awesome and well worth playing… at night… with headphones on… in the dark

    • Outlast 2 is also very good, haven't played it long but runs quite well on even my older GT 650m based laptop.

      • I'll bet it is.

I'll definitely buy it once I finish whistleblower. I have a pretty decent gaming laptop so I'm ok for power.

I think my OCD means I need to play them in order LOL.

        Cheers for the heads up!

  • Does this activate on steam? if not, do I need to download and install to keep it or would it stay on my humble bundle account forever?

    • if you press the download button it will give you the code for it on steam i think

      • Yes there are 2 steam keys.

    • There's a DRM-free download version that doesn't require steam which you can keep indefinitely, as long as you don't delete the files….and download them before the expiry date, not sure what happens after it if the links to the DRM-free installers/files will still be there or not…

  • Thanks another one in my collection.

  • +1

Please note that after Friday, 9/22 1:13 PM PT, free customers may not get a Steam key depending on our key reserves!

    The DRM-free version is still available for download - 3gb + 2gb.

It seems no steam key available now

    • I did not get a steam key by email but after purchase I was just now able to get one (well 2 actually) from the Humble Bundle website itself under the 'Free Game' tab.

      • Great, thanks - Found the keys under Account > Keys
