        I'm waiting for Aldi to have their sale back on their soldering station.

        • You might have gotten a dud, I've been using that exact same one for over a year now, and it's been very reliable. Just had to switch out the sharp soldering tips once every few months, they somehow "dull".

          For $5 I'd definitely recommend it to anyone starting out a diy tool kit.
