No, I Don't Lift - Strength Training Using a Resistance Band

I'm fairly fit (I play soccer, run and just started a bit of swimming) but I'd like to add a bit of strength training.

I've never been to a gym but I do have a resistance band (from when I bought the T25 program) and after a bit of research, I'm thinking I should be doing the following (3 sets of 20):

  • squat
  • overhead press
  • standing side raise
  • standing low row
  • leg kickback
  • standing arm curl

Should I be doing any others?

  • You should really concentrate on the leg exercises if you play soccer, you'd be surprised how much you can improve your agility and kicking power.
